We are conveniently located at 130-134 Herring Road North Ryde, in the heart of the growing North Ryde business precinct (see maps below), soon to become the second largest CBD in New South Wales.
The College has limited on-site parking which is reserved for casual guests and those attending conferences and events. Boom gates control parking on the College premises. On-street parking is available on the opposite side of Herring Road, as well on Windsor Drive and Lachlan Avenue. Free 3-hour parking is available at the Macquarie Centre.
For more information on parking permits at the university, please see the Macquarie University website
The Macquarie Centre on Herring Road is a major transport hub, with taxi stands, buses and the new Macquarie University Railway Station linking Epping to Chatswood. The station is less than 100 metres from the College and provides a convenient, fifteen minute service each way between these destinations, with stops at Macquarie University, Macquarie Park and North Ryde. For bus information, see Sydney Buses – Macquarie University Public Transport Guide and for trains, see here.
Macquarie Shopping Centre
Macquarie Shopping Centre is just five minutes stroll away. It is a major, four-level shopping complex, with scores of shops and services including post office, banks, fashion, jewellery, department store (Myer), electronics, homewares, supermarkets, cafes and restaurants, food court, health centre, cinemas and ice skating rink. It has over 4000 car spaces for parking.
Macquarie University Sport & Recreation
Macquarie University has one of the finest sports centres of any Australian university. The recently completed aquatic centre is second to none with its heated indoor (30m) and outdoor (50m) pools. Residents of DLC automatically have membership included and can take advantage of a wide range of facilities and course from early morning to late evening. There is also a strongly contested intercollegiate sports competition between DLC, Robert Menzies College and the Village. Further campus leisure activities include tennis and ‘Real Tennis' (the only one of its kind in NSW), golf driving range, gymnasium, squash courts, on campus art gallery and museum. More info
