Conference Rooms and Meeting Rooms

The Almgren Conference Centre offers a range of meeting rooms for large and small groups. Superior on-site catering, meals and functions can be arranged to suit any budget. Packed lunches or dinners, or specially tailored menus can be provided for sporting or performance groups.

Since the conference facilities were opened in 2002, Dunmore Lang College has hosted

Whether it’s a meeting for five people, cocktails for 50 or a convention for 200, we can offer a solution. In addition to common rooms and the Dining Hall, Dunmore Lang College has six air-conditioned meeting rooms and can provide wireless connectivity and audiovisual equipment to suit your purposes. Four of the rooms flow into our modern and sunny entrance foyer (Almgren Centre) which is an ideal place for exhibitions, event registration, welcome drinks, conference break-out sessions or stand-up meals and breaks. Rooms can be set up theatre style, board room style, exam style or ‘U’ shaped. Our Conference and Further Education Team will customise a quote to meet your special requirements.

The Dining Hall and Common Room

The Dining Hall (available Saturday evenings only) is a light and airy room with modern polished floorboards and a warm and inviting interior. A raised platform on the northern end provides an ideal ‘stage' for a band or presentation and speeches. The Hall is a lovely space for dining in banquet style or long table configuration. Alternatively, the room can also be set up theatre style and used for presentations or performances. Glass doors on one side of the Dining Hall open out to an expansive courtyard, ideal for pre dinner drinks and canapes on a balmy summer's evening. In cooler months, the Common Room above the Dining Room provides a warm and informal space for pre-dinner events.
