Football Federation of Australia

The Football Federation of Australia (FFA) has become a very special and valued client of Dunmore Lang College’s Conference and Further Education department. FFA first came to us in May 2009 with only a few weeks to spare before their course commenced and have now become a regular client bringing many talented, experienced and motivated students who aim to complete their advanced coaching licences and eventually coach at national and international level.

Dunmore Lang College provides accommodation, conference facilities and catering needs to the group during the their theory sessions, and all practical sessions are held at Macquarie University.

FFA runs one C Licence, B Licence, A Licence (Part 1 & 2), Pro-Diploma (Part 1 & 2) each year. As Dunmore Lang College promotes and supports all areas of learning and leadership, we feel very privileged to be part of these great teaching program. Particularly so, as in June 2009 the Pro Diploma Licence was introduced in Australia for the first time and was taught to ex-Socceroos and other previously professional players. July 2009 saw the inaugural program for Women’s Advanced Licences, the C Licence which was presented to 17 women from around Australia.

We look forward to welcoming FFA back to DLC in 2010.

Ryde Business Cocktail Reception

Each month the Ryde Business Forum holds a cocktail reception called 'After Hours'. Here local members of the Forum get together casually to discuss the services they offer to the local community. This month our Program and Events Co-ordinator Felicity Webb attended this event, which was hosted by Johnson and Johnson on Waterloo Road. They delivered an informative presentation of the companies services and purposes in both the community and the medical industry.
