DLC Commencement Dinner
The Commencement Dinner began with pre-drinks in the courtyard and all the students looked fantastic in their suits and dresses. An excellent trumpet and guitar duo provided background jazz during the meal and the night featured performances by some of the College's most talented musicians. But the night itself is really a celebration, and after welcoming speeches the College handed out awards to many high performing and well deserving students.
DLC Commencement Dinners offer a special opportunity to welcome new and returning students and also celebrate their achievements. Every year residents and dignitaries alike share a meal to officially announce the commencement of the new year at DLC. The Dining Hall looks a treat, being transformed by way of luxurious food and stunning décor. The tables are covered, waiters stand ready and DLC wine is ready to be enjoyed on each table. It truly is a spectacular production.

It is fair to say that all who attended the 2009 DLC Commencement Dinner had an excellent night! A special thanks to Mayor of Ryde for attending.
