They say "home is where the heart is", but we think we can better that. How about your own private room in a community of people your own age with all your cooking and cleaning done for you and an entire University's recreational and social resources in your backyard?

• Your Room - We offer 3 different styles of bedroom:

1. In the McCredie and Mansfield Wings (200 rooms) - single bedroom sharing communal bathrooms;
   
2. In the Miller and Doust Wings (24 rooms) - single bedroom sharing an ensuite bathroom with one other resident;
3. In the Miller and Doust Wings (36 rooms) - single bedroom with private ensuite bathroom.

All bedrooms in the McCredie and Mansfield Wings are equipped with a furnished study area (including desk, lamps, and bookshelves), bed, sink, wardrobe, telephone with voicemail, broad band internet access, kettle, fan, heater and storage area.

All bedrooms in the Miller and Doust Wings are equipped with a furnished study area (including desk, lamps and bookshelves), bed, wardrobe, refrigerator, telephone with voicemail, internet access via Wireless LAN, kettle, fan, heater and storage area. Some bedrooms also offer a balcony.

Housekeeping staff clean rooms weekly and provide students with fresh linen weekly.

• Your Computer - Students are encouraged to bring their own computers. The College also offers 24 hour access to a computer lab of 10 PCs running all the Windows based programs you're likely to require. The lab is equipped with a printer and photocopier. Access to the University library catalogue, on-line lecturers' notes and E-mail is available via the University network. Computers for rooms in the Miller and Doust Wings need to be compatible with Wireless LAN. Costs are:

1. Annual Connection Fee ($40): This fee covers the cost of your connection and access to our college-wide anti-virus system.
2. Download Fees: Fees and charges apply for use of the internet services provided by the college. Data downloaded from the university is provided free of charge. If you elect to have internet access you agree to pay all charges associated with your internet usage and to keep your account in credit.

• Your Common Room - This is a recreational area equipped with a pool table, table tennis facilities, kitchenette and a lounge area where people can relax and meet informally.
• College Library - The library provides a reference collection in all major areas of study as well as current journals and magazines. It also offers a quiet study area.
• Laundries - There are six coin operated laundries located in the College's buildings.
• Student Kitchens - There are two student kitchens maintained by the College for member use.
• Courtyard and BBQ - The courtyard and BBQ area is a very popular outside dining area during the summer months.
• Other Facilities - There is also a Chiropractic Table (as recommended by the Macquarie University Chiropractic Department) for skills practice, two pianos, TV room and music room.

With the College located on campus, you're free to take advantage of the University's extensive recreational, social, and academic resources any time you choose. And if that's not enough the beaches and bustle of Sydney are only a short journey away.

M.U.S.A. provides opportunity for students to represent Macquarie University at the Australian University Games and the Australian University Sort East competition.
