We work hard to provide support for students from a range of disadvantaged backgrounds including a strong focus on students who are the first in their family to attend university.

Studying at university is life-changing for the student and their wider networks of family, friends and communities.

At Dunmore Lang College we provide much more than accommodation. We offer:

  • pastoral care support for our students by having senior pastoral care staff (Principal and Dean of Students) living on site, a College Counsellor and College Psychologist available two afternoons a week, Resident Advisers on every floor
  • tutorial support for our students
  • academic support for students teaching them time management skills, essay writing techniques
  • academic dinners where small groups of students enjoy a meal with an industry professional
  • work-ready skills training for senior students which includes resume writing skills, interview skills, networking workshops, LinkedIn profile building workhops and a degustation dinner to learn important etiquette skills
  • leadership training to set them up for a successful transition into the work place

and more.

Dunmore Lang College provides generous scholarship assistance for students with almost twenty percent receiving financial help.  Our aim is to assist at least fifty percent of students by 2025.

Help us reach our goal.
