Upcycled Mugs

‘Up-cycled Mugs’ sourced from local charity shops are a staple in the dining hall. This intiative has cut down the purchase of new mugs at regular intervals throughout the year.
Doyle Bros Waste Management

Doyle Bros makes recycling more efficient and accessible by collecting all waste in the one bin. Waste is sorted and after recyclable items have been removed what remains is turned into Processed Engineered Fuel, a fuel substitute for coal and gas. This process reduces landfill to an incredibly small amount of 3% of original volume going to landfill.
Blackroo Vending Machines

Blackroo Corporation, a social enterprise, provide the College with snacks and refreshments year round with beautiful vending machines. This revenue stream allows them to engage in meaningful ways to Close the Gap for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people.

The John Dunmore Lang Senior Scholar recognises the contribution of a senior student to the life and community of Dunmore Lang College as well as their potential to contribute to the wider community in their future professional career and community service.
